Express Coaches
VR Ltd. has approximately 490 express train coaches. Express coaches were built during the time from the sixties to early eighties by VR Ltd. Pasila Works. These so called 'Blue Wagons" have been the core of the main line coaches for long-distance trains since the 1970s. In 1996, the "Blue Wagons" were refurbished to improve the door locking system with the help of EKE-Trainnet® III Coach Computers. |
