EKE-Electronics equipment is used as part of the modernisation project of ÖBB Rh 1044 locomotive fleet. EKE-Electronics scope of supply includes gateway and remote control system which controls and diagnoses operative data of the locomotive and allows multi-traction use. The system integrator in the project is Swiss Railtech Systems GmbH.
