The Shuttle Trains for the English Channel Tunnel are for car-carrying. These trains consist of approximately 250 single- and double-decker cars and 50 locomotives. The maximum length of a train is 800 meters. The EKE-Trainnet® Data Communications system is in use in these trains. |
