Quality

At EKE-Electronics quality is an aspect of everything we do. It is an attitude and a way of thinking, an integral part of any operation, product or service. EKE quality is dynamic, not static.

We define Quality in two stages:

· Specifications, validity of a system for the intended use, and

· Implementation, system’s conformance to specifications.

EKE-Electronics has recently been awarded with the IRIS certificate (Rev. 02) according to the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) for on board vehicle control, passenger information system and communication system categories. IRIS is a globally recognized standard unique to the railway sector for the evaluation of management systems.

In addition, our operation complies with ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004.

EKE-Trainnet® system architecture and products comply with internationally recognized standards, like EN50155. We also actively contribute to the creation and maintenance of these standards within IEC, Cenelec, IEEE and UIC.
