1986 EKE Group acquires KLT Electronics Oy, an engineering company specializing in computer system peripherals

1986 EKE Group / EKE Automation starts development of databus and robotics for industrial applications

1986 EKE-Net industrial databus is introduced

1987 Development of railway compliant gateways starts

1987 First project with Finnish Railways (VR)

1990 London Underground Central Line TMS project started. This first large scale international project was successfully finished in 1994.
